Install fftw3 from sources since the package is not available in yum:
./configure --with-g77-wrappers --enable-mpi F77=mpif77
yum update glibc
yum install fftw.x86_64
yum install fftw-devel.x86_64
wget ftp://mirror.switch.ch/pool/4/mirror/centos/6.8/os/x86_64/Packages/fftw-3.2.1-3.1.el6.x86_64.rpm
rpm -ivh fftw-3.2.1-3.1.el6.x86_64.rpm

Installing openmpi:
yum install openmpi-1.10.x86_64
