Germán is researcher assistant and engineering teacher at Universidad Central in Bogotá-Colombia. He graduated in electronic engineering in 2013 from Universidad de los Llanos and received his master's degree in Modelling and Simulation in 2018 from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and Universidad Central.
He is member of COMMONS research group (Computational Modeling of Natural Systems) in charge of research and development of computer-based methods based on data analytics, computer vision, machine learning, statistical analysis and biomechanics.
One of his leading projects is the development of a computational model for the estimation of postural control measures from patients with physical disability using the skeleton-tracking data provided by a Kinect sensor, as a supporting tool for balance diagnosis.
